Verification on GamesHub
In some cases, you may be asked to verify your identity or payment method before being able to make purchases on GamesHub. This verification process is in place to prevent fraud and protect both buyers and sellers from illegitimate transactions.
Verification Process
You may be prompted to complete verification when placing an order. You will need to provide one or more documents for review. Once submitted, the GamesHub team will review your documents within 15 minutes, after which your account will be verified, and you can proceed with your order.
We take the privacy and security of user data very seriously. All personal information submitted to the GamesHub website or through customer support channels is handled and stored securely. To learn more about how your data is managed, please review our Privacy Policy.
Document Types We May Request:
- Copy of your government-issued photo ID
- A selfie with your ID
- Photo of your credit/debit card
Verifying Your ID
- Submit a clear scan or photo of your ID for verification.
- Make sure your photo is visible on the ID.
- We only accept government-issued IDs like a driver’s license or passport.
- Ensure that all details on the ID are readable.
- Do not submit an invalid or expired ID.
- If your ID has multiple sides or pages, submit all of them.
- Include a piece of paper with “GamesHub” written on it near the ID or have the website visible in the background.
- Do not submit an ID belonging to someone else, even a family member or friend.
Note: There is no age limit for purchasing goods on GamesHub.
Verifying Your ID Selfie
- Face the camera directly and make sure your face is visible.
- Hold your ID so that the photo page is visible, proving it’s the same ID you submitted.
- Take a selfie and submit it for verification.
- Ensure you are using the same ID from your previous submission—do not use a different ID for the selfie.
- Avoid submitting selfies intended for other websites (e.g., holding a sign that says “Verification for Google.com”).
- Ensure you are in a well-lit space and avoid bright light behind you, as it may cause the selfie to be rejected.
Verifying Your Credit or Debit Card
- Take a photo of the front of the credit/debit card you used to make a GamesHub purchase.
- Ensure the cardholder’s name, card type (Visa/Mastercard), and the last 4 digits of the card number are visible.
- You can cover the other digits of the card number—only the last 4 digits need to be shown.
- Make sure the bank name on the card is visible.
By following these steps, you can complete your verification and ensure smooth transactions on GamesHub.
